Southern Maryland Horse Summit

SMADC is thrilled to host the Southern Maryland Horse Summit in partnership with the Maryland Horse Industry Board, University of Maryland Equine Studies, and AAEDC’s Arundel Ag Program on Sunday, March 8th, 2020 at the DoubleTree by Hilton Annapolis.
This one-day event will highlight three seminar tracks covering topics for all disciplines and stages of riders, barn owners, businesses and equine enthusiasts.
The Southern Maryland Horse Summit will feature a Keynote Presentation from Lynn Symansky, renowned event rider and clinician and Opening Remarks by Steuart Pittman, Anne Arundel County Executive and accomplished horseman.
Early Bird Admission until February 21st: $35 per person
After February 21st, General Admission will increase to $45 per person
Student/Youth Admission (With ID): $30 per person
Ticket includes light breakfast and catered lunch.
Don’t Wait: The first 200 registered attendees will receive an 8 QT feed bucket and special Summit decal.

A lifetime of working with horses turned into a professional eventing career that has taken Lynn Symansky all over the world. Her experiences at the top of the sport have taught her to develop a “snow day philosophy.” Join Lynn as she shares insights into her snow day philosophy, her own experiences in riding, rising through the professional ranks, training, teaching, and navigating an equestrian business and lifestyle. From instilling confidence to admitting defeat, preparing for disappointment to soaking in success, and just putting your head down and doing your job – Lynn has advice that will resonate with equestrians of all ages, experience, and disciplines.
